Aphelios vs Xayah ADC Matchup

Aphelios ADC wins 47.6% of 2,662 Low Elo games against Xayah ADC, -0.3 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Aphelios

Use Calibrum(Q) to poke from spacing early, and avoid chasing through Xayah's feathers; only commit to a close red/white fight when your support can lock her down.

Hold Moonlight Vigil(R) until Xayah has used Featherstorm(R); its untargetability can dodge your ultimate during the cast.

Xayah can pull back feathers with Bladecaller(E), rooting Aphelios if enough feathers cross him; his Gravitum(Q) root can also stop her from walking out of a bad feather line.

How to play as Xayah

Look for Q plus an attack followed by Bladecaller(E) when Aphelios is in the feather path, and save Featherstorm(R) to evade his Moonlight Vigil(R) if he casts it.
