How to play as Illaoi

Use Test of Spirit(E) without first trying to pop Mundo's passive; its protection is for immobilizing effects, not the spirit pull. If he drops a canister, destroy it before he reaches it to deny its heal and cooldown reduction.

Dr. Mundo's passive resists immobilizing effects, but Test of Spirit(E)'s pull is not crowd control, so the passive does not stop Illaoi from pulling his spirit.

Heart Zapper(W) can absorb some of Illaoi's damage as gray health, but it does not cancel Test of Spirit(E).

How to play as Dr. Mundo

Do not cast Heart Zapper(W) expecting it to stop Test of Spirit(E); it only mitigates and stores some damage. Use it for the damage exchange after the pull lands instead.
