Janna vs Senna Support Matchup

Janna Support wins 51.3% of 1,709 Low Elo games against Senna Support, +0.1 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Janna

Use your movement speed to close in while Senna is picking up a soul, then take a short W-and-auto trade before she can answer. Don't repeat the trade if her range and sustain are already pushing you out of lane.

If your ADC or jungler can't create an early lane opening, stop trading into Senna's range and use a safe wave state to roam; Janna's map movement is the more reliable way to get value before Senna scales.

Senna's passive soul pickup commits her to an attack wind-up, briefly limiting how quickly she can reposition.

How to play as Senna

Use your range to pressure Janna while collecting souls, and make her pay with the wave if she leaves to roam rather than following her into a map move that you cannot match.
