Why this duo works

Pantheon's Shield Vault(W) gives Jhin a reliable target for Deadly Flourish(W): Jhin can follow the stun with his own root, letting the pair chain crowd control and damage. Jhin players specifically praise the stun-root combination.

Measured in High Elo: this duo wins 1.5pp more often than expected over 3,411 games.

Playing the duo

Pantheon's Shield Vault(W) stuns its target, and Jhin's Deadly Flourish(W) roots an enemy recently hit by an ally; Pantheon's engage can therefore set up Jhin's follow-up root.

How to play as Jhin

Save Deadly Flourish(W) for a target Pantheon stuns with Shield Vault(W); the stun sets up your root and lets both of you add damage before the target can move.

How to play as Pantheon

Call your Shield Vault(W) engage so Jhin can follow with Deadly Flourish(W) while the target is still in front of him.
