Kindred vs Briar Jungle Matchup

Kindred Jungle wins 46.5% of 1,360 Low Elo games against Briar Jungle, +0.3 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Kindred

Avoid taking an isolated 1v1 with Briar unless you have a large lead. If she commits with Blood Frenzy(W), kite toward allied help and use Dance of Arrows(Q) to change your angle rather than running into open river.

When Briar commits her ultimate, group with teammates who can chain crowd control and burst her after she arrives; do not rely on winning the isolated duel through marks alone.

Blood Frenzy(W) commits Briar to chasing a target, while Kindred's Dance of Arrows(Q) can reposition around nearby terrain; Briar's pursuit is easier to read when Kindred keeps an escape route open.
