Ornn vs Yorick Top Matchup

Ornn Top wins 52.5% of 1,193 Low Elo games against Yorick Top, +0.6 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Ornn

Hold Searing Charge(E) to break Dark Procession(W) if Yorick cages you, and avoid committing to a trade while Maiden of the Mist(R) and ghouls are attacking.

Do not try to win the push at any cost; stay even in levels and use your stronger teamfight contribution to affect the map.

Searing Charge(E) can destroy Yorick's Dark Procession(W) wall, letting Ornn escape the cage.

How to play as Yorick

Keep Maiden of the Mist(R) and your ghouls with you when trading, and use Dark Procession(W) to contain Ornn's approach while watching for his E escape.
