Sylas Support vs Jhin ADC Matchup
Sylas Support wins 50.9% of 1,691 Low Elo games against Jhin ADC, +1.3 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Why Sylas is favored
Sylas functions as an aggressive burst assassin in the support role that easily overpowers the immobile Jhin in early 2v2 skirmishes. His double-dash and stun on Abscond / Abduct (E) close the gap effortlessly, while Kingslayer (W) heals through Jhin's fixed-cadence trades and Hijack (R) steals high-value teamfight ultimates.
How to play as Sylas
Look for heavy all-ins at levels 2 and 3 with Electrocute and ignite whenever Jhin expends his 4th Whisper shot, taking advantage of his reload downtime when he cannot retaliate.
Steal Curtain Call (R) or high-impact teamfight ultimates as soon as you hit level 6, using the extreme range to initiate picks or finish off low-health targets who retreat under tower.
Abscond / Abduct (E) provides two rapid gap-closers and a knock-up, allowing Sylas to dodge linear skillshots like Deadly Flourish (W) and easily close distance on the immobile Jhin.
Kingslayer (W) deals targeted damage and provides a strong heal when used on champions, allowing Sylas to recover substantial health during trades even after absorbing Jhin's physical burst.
Hijack (R) allows Sylas to steal Jhin's Curtain Call (R), granting Sylas four long-range sniper shots that deal heavy AP-scaled damage and apply 80% slows.
How to play as Jhin
Position strictly behind your minion wave in lane; Sylas's Abduct (E2) chains collide with minions, preventing him from pulling himself directly onto you.
Avoid committing to extended trades once Sylas is in melee range; use your Fleet Footwork move speed to disengage and bait out Kingslayer (W) before looking for a 4th-shot execute.
