Why Vladimir is favored

Vladimir can take short Transfusion(Q) trades and heal back Teemo's poison chip, while Teemo players describe Vladimir as difficult to punish. Teemo has to turn his early pressure into a lead and avoid giving Vladimir free empowered Qs; if Vladimir farms safely, his sustain gives him the lane edge.

How to play as Teemo

Use Guerrilla Warfare(P) from a brush to threaten Vladimir's access to the first waves and force him to respect an early trade. After that, poke only when his empowered Transfusion(Q) is spent and don't chase through his minions.

Teemo's Blinding Dart (Q) prevents Vladimir's basic attacks from connecting, but it does not stop Vladimir's spell-based Transfusion (Q).

Transfusion(Q) heals Vladimir when it hits Teemo, while Teemo's Toxic Shot(E) adds damage over time to his attacks; Vladimir can restore health through that poke if he gets safe Q trades.

How to play as Vladimir

Use Transfusion(Q) for short trades, then back away instead of chasing Teemo through his minions; the healing lets you recover from his poison while minion damage discourages the chase.
