Do not fish for max-range hooks through minion lines against mobile Kai'Sa; walk up from brush to lead with a Flay(E) slow, making the follow-up Death Sentence(Q) much easier to land.

Hold Death Sentence(Q) to maintain constant lane pressure; with Kai'Sa's short 525 basic attack range, the threat of your hook forces her to concede minion last hits or blow Supercharge(E) defensively.
