Use The Darkin Blade(Q) to poke, but hold Infernal Chains(W) and Umbral Dash(E) until Jax spends Counter Strike(E) or Leap Strike(Q); punish as Counter Strike ends.

Look for a longer trade while Counter Strike(E) and Leap Strike(Q) are available; if Aatrox spends Umbral Dash(E) to poke, jump on him before it returns.

Counter Strike(E) evades basic attacks and can stun Aatrox, but it does not stop The Darkin Blade(Q).
