Why this duo works

Darius can turn Apprehend into a catch by pulling a target across the wall of Veigar's Event Horizon. The stun gives Veigar time to land Dark Matter while Darius starts stacking Hemorrhage; Veigar players recommend setting his cage up with ally crowd control and specifically describe hooks pulling targets into it.

Playing the duo

Apprehend(E) pulls enemies toward Darius, while Event Horizon(E) stuns enemies who cross its wall; if that wall crosses the pull path, Apprehend can drag a target through it.

How to play as Darius

After Veigar places Event Horizon, use Apprehend only when a cage wall crosses the pull path; dragging the target through it stuns them, giving you time to land attacks and build Hemorrhage.

How to play as Veigar

Place Event Horizon so one wall lies across Darius's pull path before he uses Apprehend; once the target crosses the wall and is stunned, follow with Dark Matter.
