Graves vs Shyvana Jungle Matchup

Graves Jungle wins 46.2% of 2,815 Low Elo games against Shyvana Jungle, -0.2 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Graves

Hold Quickdraw(E) until Shyvana closes, then dash to kite; Graves players specifically recommend saving the dash because her approach tools can otherwise keep her on top of you.

Don't force a blind early invade or point-blank duel: players disagree about who wins the early fight, but Shyvana can be dangerous in levels 1–5. If she commits in dragon form, use Smoke Screen(W) and Collateral Damage(R) to disengage. (Unverified: no source confirms this note.)

Shyvana's Flame Breath(E) slows, while Graves's Quickdraw(E) dashes and grants defensive stats; Dragon's Descent(R) gives Shyvana a long-range entry into a fight.
