Jayce vs Renekton Top Matchup

Jayce Top wins 46.8% of 1,234 Low Elo games against Renekton Top, +0.1 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Jayce

Hold Thundering Blow(E) for Renekton's dash-in rather than spending it casually; after you knock him away, kite and trade around the cooldown of Slice and Dice(E).

If Renekton has his dash and empowered Ruthless Predator(W) available, keep your distance and farm rather than letting him start a burst trade on you.

Thundering Blow(E) can knock Renekton back after Slice and Dice(E) brings him into close range, giving Jayce a way to interrupt the engage and create space.
