Jinx ADC vs Tahm Kench Support Matchup

Jinx ADC wins 51.6% of 5,682 Low Elo games against Tahm Kench Support, -0.7 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Jinx

Treat the lane as a farm-and-scale matchup instead of trying to burn through Tahm Kench's tankiness; take the safe CS and wait for later fights.

Keep minions between you and Tongue Lash(Q), and place Flame Chompers(E) on the landing spot if he commits with Abyssal Dive(W). (Unverified: no source confirms this note.)

Tongue Lash(Q) can stack Tahm Kench's passive toward its three-stack stun, and minions block the tongue; standing behind the wave reduces both his poke and his setup.
