Kai'Sa ADC vs Zilean Support Matchup

Kai'Sa ADC wins 48.7% of 2,784 Low Elo games against Zilean Support, +0.4 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Kai'Sa

Use Supercharge(E)'s movement burst to sidestep Time Bomb(Q), and avoid walking straight toward Zilean after Time Warp(E) slows you because it makes his follow-up easier.

Do not force an all-in while Zilean still has the double-bomb stun ready; wait for him to spend the setup, then look for a support-led fight. (Unverified: no source confirms this note.)

Time Warp(E) can slow Kai'Sa before Zilean lines up Time Bomb(Q); a double bomb can then stun her, interrupting her short-range trading window.
