Morgana vs Yasuo Mid Matchup

Morgana Mid wins 48.6% of 650 Low Elo games against Yasuo Mid, -1.1 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Morgana

Wait for Wind Wall(W) to be used before throwing Dark Binding(Q); Yasuo can otherwise erase the root with his wall.

Use Black Shield(E) before Yasuo's tornado connects if you need to prevent its knockup and keep your position.

Wind Wall(W) blocks Morgana's Dark Binding(Q), but it cannot block Soul Shackles(R), which does not travel as a projectile.

Black Shield(E) can prevent the airborne effect from Yasuo's Steel Tempest(Q) tornado.
