How to play as Riven

Use the first levels to zone Nasus from minions and experience; if the wave begins pushing toward him, freeze near your side and punish him when he steps up to stack Q.

Respect Nasus's level 6 all-in; bait out Fury of the Sands(R) with a short trade and back away, then pressure again after the storm ends. Later, proxy or roam instead of repeatedly dueling him alone.

Nasus permanently increases Siphoning Strike(Q)'s damage by last-hitting units with it, so free farm against Riven also builds his later duel strength.

How to play as Nasus

Respect Riven's early zone and give up a last hit or experience rather than taking a bad trade; once you have level 6, use Fury of the Sands(R) to threaten her when she overcommits.
