Soraka Support vs Ziggs ADC Matchup

Soraka Support wins 54.1% of 647 Low Elo games against Ziggs ADC, +1.1 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Soraka

Aim Starcall(Q) at Ziggs when he steps forward to last-hit; Soraka players recommend timing Q around an ADC's farm animation because it makes the target's movement predictable.

When the lane is stable, wait for Starcall(Q)'s healing effect to return before casting Astral Infusion(W) on your ADC; do not delay W if they need the heal immediately.

Starcall(Q) restores Soraka's health when it hits Ziggs, while Astral Infusion(W) spends her health to heal an ally; using Q before W can offset some of the healing cost during poke trades.
