Tahm Kench vs Tryndamere Top Matchup

Tahm Kench Top wins 52.0% of 961 Low Elo games against Tryndamere Top, +1.1 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Tahm Kench

Do not spend Devour before Tryndamere activates Undying Rage. When he turns it on, use R to keep him out of the fight for part of the duration, then disengage until the effect ends instead of trying to kill him through it.

Use Tongue Lash to slow him and keep space; avoid chasing after he spins away, since the lane is safer when Tahm makes Tryndamere spend E to reach him.

Tryndamere R prevents him from dying for its duration; Tahm R can remove him from the fight while that timer continues to run.
