Yone vs Yasuo Top Matchup

Yone Top wins 52.1% of 3,973 Low Elo games against Yasuo Top, +0.7 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Yone

Respect Yasuo's level 1-2 pressure and let him push if needed; start contesting trades once you reach level 3 and have Soul Unbound(E) and Spirit Cleave(W) available.

Use Spirit Cleave(W) to pop Yasuo's passive shield before an all-in. If he still has Wind Wall(W), bait it or wait it out before sending Mortal Steel(Q)3 from range.

Yasuo's passive shield builds as he moves and triggers when a champion damages him; Yone can remove it with Spirit Cleave(W) before committing.
