Why Yuumi is favored

Yuumi can stay attached through Brand's poke, making herself difficult to target directly, and use Zoomies(E) to shield her ally when his Blaze(P) combo lands. That reduces Brand's chance of converting his mage pressure into a kill.

How to play as Yuumi

Stay attached while Brand has Sear(Q) ready, and time Zoomies(E) for his Blaze(P) burst on your ally. Use Prowling Projectile(Q) to poke when he has spent his main spells.

Brand's Sear(Q) only stuns a target already affected by Blaze(P), while Yuumi's You and Me!(W) makes Yuumi untargetable from most enemy abilities after she attaches.

Zoomies(E) transfers its shield to Yuumi's ally while attached, giving her a way to reduce the burst after Brand has applied Blaze(P).

How to play as Brand
