Darius vs Jax Top Matchup

Darius Top wins 48.6% of 3,941 Low Elo games against Jax Top, -0.4 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Darius

Hold Apprehend(E) until Jax has committed Counter Strike(E), then pull him near the end of its duration and step away from the stun before re-engaging.

Avoid throwing Decimate(Q) at the blade edge while Jax can Leap Strike(Q) onto you to dodge it; step in and out to make him spend the jump before you commit.

Counter Strike(E) lets Jax evade Darius's attacks for a short time, then stun nearby enemies, disrupting Darius's attempt to build Hemorrhage stacks with basic attacks.
