How to play as Gwen

Do not spend E to engage into Jax. Wait for his Q leap and Counter Strike, then dash out of the stun range and take a short Q trade rather than staying for his extended fight.

Keep Q stacks ready and avoid fighting to the death while Jax's passive is stacked from the wave; if he wastes Counter Strike, use that cooldown window to trade.

Jax E dodges basic attacks and reduces area-effect damage, but Gwen Q and R are abilities that can still hit him; Gwen E can reposition her outside Counter Strike's stun radius.
