Lux vs Brand Mid Matchup

Lux Mid wins 53.2% of 652 Low Elo games against Brand Mid, +1.0 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Lux

Keep Brand at the edge of your range. If he walks in, cast Prismatic Barrier(W), then use Lucent Singularity(E) to slow him and create space; delay the detonation until he is leaving the slow field.

If Brand's combo misses, wait for him to back away and punish with Light Binding(Q) or Lucent Singularity(E) from your longer range instead of following him into his spell range.

Lux's longer spell range lets her trade from outside much of Brand's combo reach, and Prismatic Barrier(W) can absorb part of his damage and lingering burn while the shield holds.
