Why Yasuo is favored

Yasuo counters Lux because Sweeping Blade allows him to close the distance through minion waves, while Wind Wall blocks her primary defensive snare and poke, leaving her immobile and helpless in melee range.

How to play as Lux

Hold Light Binding as a defensive deterrent rather than throwing it out for poke: Yasuo has free reign to dash onto you the moment your Q is on cooldown.

Stand off to the side of the lane away from your own caster minions to prevent Yasuo from using the creep wave as a direct dash runway onto you.

Fire Final Spark through Wind Wall without hesitation: lasers ignore the wall completely, making it ideal for executing or chunking Yasuo when he tries to hide behind it.

Final Spark is an instant laser beam and not a missile projectile, so it completely ignores Wind Wall and deals full damage through it.

How to play as Yasuo

Hold Wind Wall to block Light Binding when dashing in: deleting her only crowd control leaves Lux completely defenseless against an extended all-in.

Use Sweeping Blade through the minion wave whenever Lux steps forward to auto-attack or last hit: close the gap quickly to force her to blow mana or take heavy melee trades.

Wind Wall intercepts and destroys both Light Binding (Q) and Lucent Singularity (E) missiles upon contact.

Prismatic Barrier throws a wand projectile, which is intercepted and deleted by Wind Wall to prevent Lux and allies from receiving the shield.
