Ryze vs Syndra Mid Matchup

Ryze Mid wins 41.4% of 1,006 Low Elo games against Syndra Mid, -2.6 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Ryze

Against a good Syndra, focus on farming and clearing the wave quickly instead of forcing a lane lead; then look to roam with your jungler, which Ryze players say she struggles to match.

If Syndra uses Scatter the Weak(E) too early while she is near your tower, punish the cooldown by running her down.

Scatter the Weak(E) stuns Ryze only when it hits a Dark Sphere, so Syndra's stun threat drops after she spends E.
