Zyra vs Lee Sin Jungle Matchup

Zyra Jungle wins 57.1% of 916 Low Elo games against Lee Sin Jungle, +1.0 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Zyra

Hold Grasping Roots(E) until Lee Sin is already dashing toward you; the Zyra jungle guide recommends waiting for that commitment instead of spending E while he can dodge it. (Unverified: no source confirms this note.)

Avoid an unsupported early 1v1 with Lee Sin. A Zyra jungle player lists him among the AD junglers who can pressure her early duels and points to her fast clear as a way to create a gank or crab advantage instead. (Unverified: no source confirms this note.)

Lee Sin can recast Sonic Wave(Q) as Resonating Strike(Q) to dash to a champion he hit; Zyra's Grasping Roots(E) can root him if it connects.
