Why this duo works

Milio gives Vayne the range she lacks and pairs it with a shield, movement speed and emergency cleanse. That lets Vayne take safer extended trades and survive crowd control while she builds into a stronger carry.

How to play as Vayne

Take extended trades when Milio has given you W's range buff and E shield; the extra range helps you apply Silver Bolts(W) while staying safer, and the speed lets you keep chasing or disengage. Ping before an all-in so Milio can time his buffs with your Tumble(Q).

Cozy Campfire(W) increases Vayne's attack range, helping cover one of her main lane limitations; Warm Hugs(E) also gives her a shield and movement speed to improve trades or disengage.

Breath of Life(R) can cleanse most crowd control that would stop Vayne from repositioning with Tumble(Q), but it cannot remove airborne effects.

How to play as Milio

Use Cozy Campfire(W) on Vayne when she can safely trade; the added range lets her attack while staying farther from threats. Save Warm Hugs(E) to shield and speed her when she tumbles forward or needs to kite back, and reserve R for a removable stun or root.
