Vayne ADC vs Alistar Support Matchup

Vayne ADC wins 48.6% of 1,678 Low Elo games against Alistar Support, +0.1 points vs expected, 2-patch window 26.19-26.20.

Researched on LoL patch 26.20. Tips are written to hold at any rank; stats come from Low Elo ranked games up to patch 26.20.

How to play as Vayne

Hold Condemn (E) for Alistar's Headbutt (W) and predict the dash rather than waiting until he has already reached you.

Once Alistar has spent Headbutt (W) and Pulverize (Q), trade front-to-back and keep out of the enemy carry's range; his engage spells have a long cooldown.

Headbutt (W) is Alistar's dash-in, and Vayne's Condemn (E) knocks him back; Vayne players recommend predicting the charge to interrupt his engage.
